Mat leave is when women take time off work to care for their new baby. It's also the first thing people say to me when I arrive at a party.

@kittythefool Will you have signed copies of Failer at the merch booth by any chance?

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson I just did the one day, but it was pretty great. Orville Peck was the highlight, as expected. Played for just over an hour though, which certainly wasn't enough time.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson They did not, unfortunately. It was a daytime set at Winnipeg Folk Fest. So woulda been so much better seeing her in a club, but this was pretty killer too.

[Matt @mattwiep]

Does anyone else’s Ticketmaster wallet look like this? No? Ok.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson I somehow missed them on the Winnipeg Folk Fest schedule 🤦‍♂️

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson That's for sure. A 3 hour drive for me, and the temptation to go to so many of these is there.

[Matt @mattwiep]

In case anyone cares

[Matt @mattwiep]

Fantastic set from @JasonIsbell in Moorhead tonight.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson Woulda loved more Nashville Sound and Reunions representation, but I’m just being picky.

[Matt @mattwiep]

Phenomenal set by @TheWarOnDrugs tonight. I’m going to be thinking about that show for a long time.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson Once you find out that Jeff Lynne produced that song it makes so much sense. Very Wilburys-esque.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson @freealonzo That seems even more likely!

[Matt @mattwiep]

@kyle_matteson @freealonzo Margo Price is playing in Saskatoon on July 9 with nothing on her schedule for July 8, so she might be a suitable and logical replacement.

[Matt @mattwiep]

@JasonIsbell I’m dying to know: what year was the white Beretta?

[Matt @mattwiep]

@MarkandEricpod ARE YOU BACK!?

[Matt @mattwiep]

@JoeSeiders Who do I have to fight to ensure you make it to Winnipeg this afternoon?

[Matt @mattwiep]

@MRGLiveOfficial Predicting Olivia Rodrigo for the Big Four!
