I’m also type 1 diabetic which can escalate the severity of symptoms. While you’re at the doctors get your blood sugar checked, too; just in case. I know it’s one in a million but if it’s the case, you’ve just got an easy answer. The solution is less easy but very much doable.

@oliviuuuuhh re:tummy stuff - have you been tested for h pylori? Gotta be off esomeprazole for 4 weeks to be tested though - I’d see if doc would prescribe the antibiotics to treat if you’re relying on the esos (they’re mild antibiotics).

In saying this, I haven’t been tested as I take esopreze and didn’t think to pursue the antibiotic route until after the fact. Instead my doctor suggested taking one every 12 hours. It’s working but I definitely notice it seems aggravated by high sodium and potentially oils.
