@PSLToFlushing He’s slightly better than Taylor. Gotta stop looking at 2023. His last two seasons were atrocious offensively and more indicative of the player he is offensively. Look at his obp and ops numbers!! Bad! IMO, Acuna could have been better served as a piece in a trade for a starter.

@MLBONFOX @fangraphs We definitely got weaker offensively with this trade! I get that we’re looking to get better defensively, but you can’t tell me there isn’t a comparable hitter to Nimmo we can trade for at 2B! If you’re going to trade a beloved Met, it’s got to be better than an aged player!

@SleeperMets @ragazzoreport There’s a reason why we went out and got relief help at the trade deadline! And those guys turned out to be no help! If we truly want to compete next season, leave the core hitters alone and go out and sign/trade for top tier arms! Period! It’s not rocket science!

@SleeperMets @ragazzoreport Go back and look at the avg innings per start for our starters. It’s mind boggling!! For the first 4+ months of the season, our starters were averaging around 5 innings. Thats absurd! And what does that mean, our bullpen was overworked all season…..

@MikeWatersSYR Souare (young forward from GT) avg’d under 3 ppg. Kyle (6’9 “center” from UCLA) was an afterthought last year & brings no offensive/defensive production. As a fan I can’t get excited when we target a player from Monmouth who avg’d 6 ppg. None of these guys are difference makers!
