@ElectroJ11 @wicked_updates Honestly I think a retelling of WoO from his perspective could be really interesting, getting to see him go from being consumed by anger to caring for Dorothy and wanting to get her home safely becoming his main goal.

@dcnauta_depre @wicked_updates I like to think that his intense anger is simply a visceral initial reaction to what happened to him, and at some point during the journey he “regained his heart” through his goal switching to simply wanting to get Dorothy home.

Clearly he can’t have been too scary while actually travelling with Dorothy, and maybe growing to care for her could have been his “regaining his heart” in a way

@binkistars @MisterSimplist1 @remadlibs As true as that is, most good movies give closure to their secondary characters, not just their leads. Boq/Tin Man is like, the fourth main character of the story (behind Elphaba, Glinda and Fiyero). Him not getting any form of closure whatsoever is strange.

@sallyvader @remadlibs We don’t even get an answer to this in the musical either, and the books are too different to really take into account. This is one of the things the longer runtime should have been used for tbh.
