@Elia_Santoro @Erin_Molan I think its worthy of a statue the issue is timing. If they won, great do it straight away. As it is not for a win it is more about a wider impact the timing feels too far from the event and not far enough to measure lasting impact. It could backfire.

They were supported by the largest most diverse base ever.

@emma_husar Hi Emma, I think sports people can only be paid commensurate with the money the sport can generate.Matildas therefore should be the highest paid athletes in Australia. If I wanted my brand to be associated with something and get massive exposure, its a no brainer.
