@thorku What exactly was bad about Kyler today? That was not a bad performance at all.
Your take about JJ McCarthy is bad. The dude cannot play. Bury that and move on
@TheBoxingPro Ironically this play is a microcosm of why he’s not on the team. Immaturity soiled his tenure here along with inconsistent play. Also didn’t finish this game due to injury which also plagued his stint in Minnesota.
Will see what happens in NY, but kid has a long way to go.
@99friscoo Exactly. To be expected from someone who hasn’t played in an nfl game in almost a calendar year. It’ll get better. Some glimpses of what the offense can be, which is exciting.
Offensive unit as a whole took an L Sunday. Need to bounce back vs. Miami #skol
@WillRagatz Did not like this play call. PA on 3rd and 5 inside your own 25 wont get many to bite. Spacing wasn’t great either. Offense as a unit was sloppy Sunday. Looking forward to them getting it fixed as there’s a lot to be excited about #skol
@Skolbinn@WillRagatz 100%. To your point, would like to see more boot action off the wide zone. Figure that plays to K1s strengths. Losing Jefferson early flipped the gameplan on its head and they didn’t adjust well.
They’ll get it fixed. 3-0 and we haven’t come close to playing our best ball yet.
@SomethingEra2 It was a really bad day for the offense as a whole. Miss ID’s in the run game (again). Kyler’s footwork also seemed quick but there were a lot of times he’d get to the top of his drop and none of the receivers were getting into their breaks. Whole unit needs to clean it up.
@FlyoverCtry@thorku Why’d he offer him a contract to come back then? That’s pretty well known information. I’m sure flyover country was in the deepest of circles though 😭😭
@codyy11_ The entire gameplan goes through #18. Losing him turned the entire gameplan on its head which definitely led to some of (not all) the offensive struggles yesterday.
Kyler and the offense will get better and having their best player will be a big part in that
@AJinMN@thorku You’re right and it’s bc at best they’re all mediocre quarterbacks. Wentz has proven to be a serviceable backup but the team wouldn’t go very far with him starting the rest of the way.
Need chicken to make chicken soup.
