La historia de superación de Fabián Ruiz:

1. Nació hace 29 años en el pueblo sevillano de Los Palacios y Villafranca.

2. Ya de por sí nació en una familia humilde pero la situación se agravó al separarse sus padres cuando Fabián tenía tan solo 12 años. Su madre se tuvo que hacer cargo de toda la familia.

3. Cuatro años antes (cuando Fabián tenía 8), Miguel Valenzuela se fijó en él y lo llamó para que se uniese a la cantera del Betis, que asumió todos los gastos de su traslado a Sevilla.

4. El Betis, además, viendo la situación familiar de Fabián, le ofreció un empleo a su madre (Chari). Primero como limpiadora y luego como personal de lavandería.

5. Fabián fue quemando etapas en la cantera del Betis hasta que Juan Merino lo hizo debutar contra el Lugo en Segunda División en 2014. Meses después debutaría en Primera con Pepe Mel.

6. Sin duda su punto de inflexión fue la cesión al Elche durante 6 meses en 2017. Se fue un niño pero volvió un hombre (física y futbolísticamente).

7. De la mano de Setién hizo una espectacular temporada con aquel Betis que acabaría metiéndose en Europa gracias a un golazo del propio Fabián al Málaga en el Benito Villamarín.

8. Pese a poder haberse marchado gratis, renovó con el Betis como acto de agradecimiento y se marchó al Nápoles por 30M€.

9. Fabián, con el contrato que firmó en Nápoles, cumplió su sueño y su madre pudo dejar de trabajar.

10. Bético hasta las trancas, orgulloso de sus raíces, humilde, un pedazo de futbolista y vigente CAMPEÓN de casi todo lo que se puede ser en el mundo del fútbol.

Christmas is a time when families get together and celebrate. With the brutal war going on in the Middle East, especially the death and destruction in Gaza, this year we get to Christmas with very heavy hearts and we share the pain of those families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones.
