@alarter @moses_brian @MaryMyatt I was surprised this week. I finished reading Morpurgo's Beowulf to my class (my zero-attention-span, can't-take-anything-seriously class) and they clapped. The book ended and they had loved it. I wrongly thought it might be too verbose, or too gory, or too cliche for them.

Never thought I'd see Starfox on the big screen. That alone was worth watching Mario Galaxy. My son loved the film, and tbh so did I. Yeah, there wasn't a lot of plot, but scene-to-scene it was great.

@scully1888 The 10yo kids I teach use "switch" to refer to pretty much all Nintendo consoles. The words Nintendo and Switch just go together for them. A gameboy, "That's one of those old Nintendo Switches." The DS, "Oh, the DS Switch?"
