@AlecinNY I’m a big Ronaldo hater but that’s definitely a pen unfortunately, had two arms pulling him back on a header he very well could have gotten to
‘Arsenal is not humble. They’ve never won a Champions League, and they’ve been around for how long? Yeh, ok. London is Blue, Up The Chels.’
@joshhart you legend
@AlphaBlk42120 CRZ is the only one managed by the state of New York. If CRZ was $100 for MSG events for those exiting the bridges and tunnels from NJ, you’d rightfully be up in arms!
I promise the people who were goin to take the train are not the elite class you think you’re sticking it to.
I think it’s silly to target fans coming from across the river. Not quite the same scale, but imagine if congestion tolls coming into the city from NJ were raised to $100 any time an event was held at MSG. I don’t drive on the roads but my taxes subsidize NJ drivers who do
In principle this sounds great but creates enormous capacity, staffing, and equipment issues. NJ Transit would have to shut down other lines and reposition their available trains in different yards. I also know Meadowlands is not an electrified route & NYP has env restrictions
@AlphaBlk42120@AdamCrafton_ I agree them closing Penn is dumb. But effectively privatizing the line is also super dumb! It should run as it always does for events, with the same fare, allowing other patrons to take their normal commute through Secaucus.
Again your fight shouldn’t be with the fans.
@AlphaBlk42120@AdamCrafton_ People have been saving up since the word cup was announced to go to a single game. Now that game costs $150 more. You’re fight isn’t with people just wanting to go to a single World Cup game in their life
@andrew_wiebe@herculezg Overall I agree there wasn’t enough evidence from the midfield camera angle to overturn, but I think combining it with the video from the stands the wrong call was made. Need offside geometry guy to hop in here
@andrew_wiebe@herculezg I’m looking at the screen grab from your video, the two angles combined make it clear that the ball is more towards the left side of his body at possession, not in line with his right shoulder or hip. The middle of his calf is probably the best reference point, which was outside
@andrew_wiebe@herculezg Keep farming your engagement man, I’m well aware of lense distortion, this isn’t that. The foot is fully outside of the box on the ground and the ball is in front of the foot. Could have just said they didn’t have the angle for VAR, but saying this shot isn’t definitive is poor.
@andrew_wiebe@onelegnutmeg@PROreferees Back leg is fully outside of the box, ball is in front of the back of the back leg, not sure what other evidence you want there. Calls have been overturned for far less that you’ve agreed with.
