WACTH | 🕯️ CANDLE LIGHTING & CARRYING THE BATON
A symbolic moment of remembrance and reflection as generations honour the legacy of the women of 1956 and carry forward their baton of courage, collective action and leadership.
The ceremony brought together Prof Puleng LenkaBula, Dr Sophia Theresa Williams-De Bruyn, Rev Mzwandile Molo, Ms Boitumelo Boom, Ms Lulama Ntuta and Dr Linda Naicker.
The flame remembers. The baton continues.
