One day before the start of the competition, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) finally confirmed that SG Sacavenense would replace 1º Dezembro (due to non-payment of wages) and therefore face Imortal DC.

However, one day later (and 24 hours before match-day), the decision was reversed (with intervention from the Central Administrative Court of the South).

Imortal would thrash 1º Dezembro by five goals despite preparing for two different opponents.
