@santanderukhelp Releasing a new mobile app version without the 'Quick Balance' feature is a really bad call. I know about the alerts feature but it's not the same. Been a customer for decades (ex Giro then ex A&L) and may well leave over this. Please pass on my feedback.

I worked out that over my lifetime I’ve spent tens of thousands of pounds on top-of-the kind Samsung kit, including huge plasma TVs, laptops and white goods… never again.
Been on hold to @SamsungUK 45 mins so far today… 3 hours all week. Patronising recorded message interrupts the soul-destroying music every 20 seconds. Online agents sent me into this phone call torture. Your support processes are broken.

Virginmedia problem context: The Internet is like lots of villages, each with their own local Post Office. Each knows how to get to a few nearby ones (called peers), and letters travel though many on their way to the eventual destination. 1/4
We don't yet know why it stopped working and there are many possibilities, including some that aren't VM's "fault". Chances are people on VM's phone lines or social media won't know either. We all just need to be patient :-) It will be back soon! 3/4
@BoredAtGym @ndoteverything IR35 supposed to make sure if freelancers are really employees they get taxed like it. Very hard to police. Reforms put liability on the engager not the worker. PLCs stopped using freelancers, that's unfair. Minibudget said would repeal the reforms.
Every compare-quotes-for-business-energy website seems fake. They do a 'please wait, calculating prices' screen before popping up a message saying an "expert" will call you. If I wanted to call, I'd call.
