I am happy to put forward this amendement in the House of Assembly to remove the 12.5% VAT on lumber, cement, steel, plywood, galvanise, Solar PV systems and female sanitary products

Therefore, the retail price of these items will be reduced by 12.5% from 2 Aug '23 to 1 Aug '25
