Finally understood this cryptic & seemingly philosophical thought I had. I recently got baptized and couldn't be more happier. Excited & curious to see where this journey with Christ takes me & hopefully bring others along 😊🤗🤗. Pray for me guys!😄
I wrote my dad a poem once, on Fathers' Day from a page I tore off a book of mine. I don't quite remember everything I wrote...but I have an idea. It's one thing I really let my heart out traversing stories mum told me about how we were inseparable in my toddler years...from the pictures in the album I saw. And what sparked it was when he shared his beef pieces with my sisters and I cz...ofcourse we ate that more than the sukuma wiki. And I was just in awe of how kind he was, wondering if we got that from him cz, the way my sisters and I couldn't wait to get a room of our own so we stop sharing?!😂
And I was just...so happy he was our dad. When I handed that paper to him...he skimmed for a few seconds and excused himself to his & mom's bedroom. When he came back...I could tell he was from shedding a tear or two🥺...and he just pat my shoulder...saying that was the best gift he could ever wish for.
Fast forward years later...when he got really sick and couldn't talk. The first time after the hospital,😢...he sat me down...with a notebook and a pen. Wrote one sentence after the next as he checked with me after every fullstop. I kept nodding...but I didn't know I was crying incessantly...cz he kept patting me down. And then after that, our eyes kinda just communicated...we sorta just understood whatever we were trying to say to each other. He'd text me sometimes like..."how did you know?"...and I'd respond..."I don't know. I just did." Till he got better and could speak again...only to say his last wishes and how proud he was...but unbeknownst to me. It just seemed like a normal conversation we would always have. I never preempted it. I never even asked him what stage of cancer he had. I didn't want to know. I just knew he'd be okay. And I bet he still is, cradled in Jesus.
So dad 😊, continue resting in perfect peace. I thought of you today...and Happy Fathers' Day to you...always.🥹❤️🫂
This performance from Mt Kenya University has completely taken over the Zilizopendwa category at KMF 2026. Pesa Position by Franco was more than just a stage act it was a powerful display of deep love, raw emotions.

Material possessions are not a sign of wealth.
True wealth is health, financial freedom, and a life full of options.

Oh dear fridge! What else do you have?😂😂
God is so funny!? In some ways you don't even want Him to. You keep avoiding/running away from stuff and He keeps shutting doors until you run out of 'em & turn to the one you never were supposed to miss & be like..."Oh hi guys, good evening.😊👋🏽"
