I today attended the opening session of an @intel and @AfriLabs workshop aimed at supporting #deeptech startups in Africa

I highlighted the GoK 🇰🇪 focus on #Tech and #innovation in the endeavour to have an innovation - led and knowledge based economy according to the Vision 2030

I highlighted the #DataProtectionAct as a catalyst for data governance and the #NationalICTpolicy that supports growth of data centers to foster a secure #innovation ecosystem.

Today, I joined the @AfyaRekod Team in launching the #UniversalPatientPortal that allows patients real-time access to their #health records.

I spoke on the GoK 🇰🇪 efforts to leverage #data as its a critical resource for driving Kenya's economic growth in line with #Vision2030

I was glad to share on GoK 🇰🇪 policy measures touching on #DigitalGovernment and the harnessing of the social and economic potential of #ICT such as those under our National #ICT Policy and the #DigitalEconomy Blueprint

1/2 - I was glad to today launch Ajira Club at Dedan Kimathi University. @DeKUTkenya joins other higher learning institutions that have partnered with @AjiraDigital to train students on importance of leveraging #digitalskills in transforming their livelihoods by working online.
