@KatiePrejean My dear, my daughter was theee months old when Katrina hit. We were without power for three weeks. I feel for you and will pray for you all. You will make it through and have stories to tell and will be grateful for the strength you gain.
@sbradleywilson I witnessed a family forgive a murderer and embrace his grieving wife. I shared a meal with them after in the house where it happened. Even now, when I feel anger bubble up, I am reminded of how humble and graced I felt in their presence. https://t.co/VPpc2i8RcG
@moorehn The money management part is a huge challenge. Having a moderator/ objective party to help siblings agree on this is critical for long-term success.
@TeakPhillips@StLouisReview@AP@AP_Images@locherphoto Check out this week’s beautiful/terrible images of ICE raids from Rogelio Solis. Started his career in Catholic Press at Diocese of Jackson. Now AP photog in Jackson.
@PearlRiverFlow I suggested a school fundraiser last year involving the invasive geese around the retaining pond and the ‘skeet’ shooting team. The idea was shot down.
@erind90 As a diocesan newspaper editor I will add that it allows us to send papers to all parishioners. We also send extras to the parish for those not on the list. This helps with communication of dio. events/ issues.
@Bob_Grip Interesting side note: this case was cited in Mississippi Blood Services’ emergency appeal for blood this weekend. Shelves were bare and he needed 100+ units. Friends donated for him.
