@lady_valor_07 Always. Even if they had 5 or so compared to my full cart. Was surprised by a gentleman recently who had 2 items; asked if he wanted to go ahead of me and he said, “No thank you, I don’t have anywhere to be.” Made my heart and mind curious. He seemed pretty upbeat though.
@MrDanielBuck Move to a town where the parents & taxpayers put education & family opportunities above all else. New school construction/improvements all the better. Sports programs low/mid tier, but growing. We had more kids accepted to Ivys/great colleges than the wealthier towns around us!
@ThrillaRilla369 The frigging rooster crowing at 5:00 in a suburban/country neighborhood. Why? You want eggs to sell at your little farm stand, great. You don’t need a rooster for that to happen!
@janninereid1 Def not the 1970’s unless you don’t have $$ and your parents gave you a starter kitchen. More like the mid-late ‘60’s. Middle Class working your way up.
@mrmikeMTL Home Economics and Life Skills. My husband can teach home and car repairs. You’ll get a 2 for with us! We’re both college educated by the way; we just did what we had to do and made our homes and lives better b/c we put the work in!
@ronsterd89 Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Fresh green beans, that’s a different story. I’ve tried to “jazz” up canned green beans to no avail. Just, heat them and eat them.
@ThrillaRilla369 Working 2 jobs; in college. Living back at home, looking forward to our wedding in 1984. That said.. going out, going to concerts and being with my soon to be husband. Here we are, 42 years later married. 4 kids - 2 grandchildren and one on the way. We are so very Blessed!
@JesterJum I’m sure we’ve done this in the past on our vacations. However, once we’re back home, the free streaming services don’t work for people not on our account(s).
@ChefGruel We stopped going to fast food places a few years ago. Don’t trust any of them. If our local “from scratch” restaurants use these abominations, no matter how good their food is, we won’t be back!
@pulseby_M I get that. However, since I don’t know who/where the cut fruit was done by, still will NEVER buy it! If it took me hours, I’d still cut my own fruit. Elderly people especially should be very cautious when purchasing pre cut fruit and veggies.
@RobertKennedyJc Grateful our grandkids, (more privileged than our kids,) absolutely enjoy mucking about in the woods, playing youth sports and truly enjoy being outdoors. I think it comes down to what parents expose them to. So happy they love exploring our property and “helping” their Grandad!
@RobertKennedyJc@ToddMetcalf Thankfully in MA & CT there are those places/butchers. But, yes I do remember seeing the cows and chickens roaming about where my parents got meat when I was a kid.
@BuzzPatterson Still pack my own. I absolutely don’t trust these stupid bottles! I mean why on Earth did we digress to this? Four Star resorts down to 2 star hotels. Such a gross concept!
@robbhurstCPA@Airbnb Always!! No matter how expensive/exclusive the place. Good Manners are paramount, no matter how much money you have or are spending! Unless of course you have a team cleaning up after you. $$$ can be fleeting; instinctive & excellent manners can’t be bought.
@KJP Oh, how I love this! Those of us who married young, and are still together (42 years married, 46 years since our first date, going to see “Airplane” ) We’re still laughing! 4 kids later, 2 beloved grandchildren and 1 on the way.. we’re all KJP fans since you first started!
@ChefGruel Hubby makes Smash Burgers and freezes the raw 85/10 we’re not grilling. I have to say, not much difference between his fresh burgers and the frozen ones. I think I might like the frozen burgers a treensy bit better.
@ChefGruel In CT. Just had surgery so I’m not trusting anything! Cant get to local farms simjust yet. I need fresh produce to help me heal. What a cluster eff to be honest. Relying on my vitamins and supplements for now and eating lean proteins. I’m actually craving fresh produce.
