Wanting an honest education system, and immediate accountability isn’t a political issue, it’s a human one. If a student wants to scream that message from a cockroach party, ruling party, opposition party, Bhangra party or a kitty party…they should have everyone’s support.

Mashobra, Himachal Pradesh has now been named India’s most peaceful hill town known for its quiet slow-paced life, breathtaking views, and being away from the usual tourist rush and crowd.
A place filled with apple orchards, forest trails, and beautiful viewpoints that truly feels like heaven.
Stayed at two absolutely stunning properties here, but not naming them publicly to avoid this peaceful place getting overcrowded or unnecessarily criticised. Can DM for the names!! 😍👌🏻
The older I get, the more I believe happiness lives in the ordinary. Pets. Plants. A quiet morning coffee. Blue sky. Cotton clouds. Birds singing. The gentle breeze through the trees. A clean, cosy house. Good food. Good hearted simple poeple. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here. And somehow, one of the sweetest feelings is knowing I get to wake up and meet it all again tomorrow.
Most Indian mothers are accidentally destroying their family’s health.
Not because they don’t care. Because nobody ever taught them what a balanced plate looks like. And questioning maa ka khaana is treated like a crime in this country.
Read till the end before you rage.
She wakes up first. Cooks for everyone. Packs tiffins. Eats last. She’s been doing this for 30 years. Nobody in her family has ever gone hungry. That’s her pride.
But here’s what her plate has looked like for three generations.
•Breakfast: paratha or poha or bread jam. 5g protein.
•Lunch: 2 rotis, sabzi, thin dal. 12g protein.
•Dinner: roti, rice, dal, one sabzi. 10g protein.
•Total daily protein for a kid who needs 50g: under 30.
You can stop blaming her. Start looking at what she was taught.
1. She didn’t study nutrition. She wasn’t supposed to.
She learned cooking from her mother. Her mother learned from hers. The recipes were passed down with love, not with macronutrient breakdowns. Nobody in the chain ever said “this plate needs more protein.” Nobody ever said “dal alone isn’t enough.” Because the food was made with love. And in India, love is the only ingredient that’s never questioned.
2. The same plate produced predictable damage in every generation.
At 30 the daughter has PCOS. At 35 the son has fatty liver. At 40 the husband is diabetic. At 55 she has osteoporosis. Same kitchen. Same plate. Same love. Same deficiencies showing up in four different bodies and getting treated as four separate problems.
3.India isn’t sick because of poverty. It’s sick because of proportions.
India has the highest anaemia burden in the world. Vitamin D deficiency in 70 to 100% of the population. The second highest diabetic population on the planet. One person controls the kitchen in most homes. One person decides what everyone eats. One person was never given the information that could have changed all of it.
4.The system taught her to feed. Nobody taught her to balance.
She was taught to cook. Not to nourish. Taught to feed. Not to build a plate. Told “ghar ka khaana is healthy” without anyone ever defining what healthy actually means. The tradition got passed down. The science never did.
The most powerful health intervention in India isn’t a gym. It isn’t a supplement. It isn’t an app.
It’s a 30-minute conversation with the person who runs your kitchen. About protein. About portions. About what balanced actually means.

The man who sold India the dream of vishwaguru is silent while our guests are massacred. No statement. No condemnation. Nothing. The world’s loudest PM has nothing to say when it actually matters. What a shame!
