This is going to be a very long post, with several threads. I will be talking about @Nyantation and why I believe dishonesty is harmful to various communities. Everything I claim in this post/thread will be backed by evidence.

Before I start going into details I want to say a couple of things.

I am not making this post to attack Nyantation, even if it will be an indirect result. My goal is to inform people about AI art, what to look for and tells you can see as an actual human. Not the kind of tells an AI tool use that says "too perfect" or "too symmetrical". I believe that the gap in understanding when it comes to AI art is the biggest reason for why accounts like this can survive on claims that they are an artist, be it an incomplete one.

I do NOT wish any harm on Nyantation in any way. If there is fallout from this, then it comes from their past behavior. I however, believe that if they are willing to change and be completely honest going forward, obviously everything would be fine.

Discussions can easily get heated and I welcome it wholeheartedly, but please try to stay civil. I will be making accusations, but they will be backed by evidence. If you want to throw accusations back at me, please do the same.

Even if you don't want to believe me, the only reason I am making this post is because I believe it is the right thing to do. I will not gain anything from this, except possibly a lot of angry people, as Nyantation is much larger than me and community focused.

I will also address this right away as I know it will be the most common defense for Nyantation by far. "They have clearly mentioned AI in their Bio". Yes this is factually true. Their bio does mention AI. They do however not mention AI anywhere else in any of their posts. They are actively hiding replies that mention AI and having a watermark exists to give them a look of legitimacy. It is this deception that I have issues with. People would rather assume that someone can be trusted than to assume lies. I think trust is beautiful and lies like this erodes trust a lot.
