@jordanbhx@BM_AG A highlight of my visit was overhearing a french woman confidently translating a label for her small child before reverting to confused English for '"pooping dog"?'
@nashienet I sought out this awful-sounding beer and pizza article, based on your anti-recommendation, but was disappointed to discover that itβs pretty-much the best-quality journalism Iβve seen on Birmingham Live for years.
@stephen_collins Could you tick the box in Threads' settings to enable Fediverse sharing, so we can follow you from, e.g., Mastodon? Thanks.

If youβre on Threads, please consider ticking the box in settings to allow federation, so I can follow you there without having to set up yet another social media account/app/etc.
@jordanbhx There's been some movement in the rankings, and it's highest rated, now. Brass Birmingham, that is, not Reflex; I assume the position of top nightclub on Broad Street has been taken by Snobs.
@nashienet East-Asian lavatory design news is what we pay our licence fees for. Where can I find this on iPlayer, so I can be informed, educated, and entertained?
@mrmjprice I had a tram conductor get quite irate with me recently when I asked for a Centro Daytripper. I think he wanted to sell me a one-day Metro ticket instead, and was pretty annoyed that that wasn't what I wanted.
@GarethDennis Does it even make sense that shorter-term season tickets work out more expensive than longer-term ones though, in the age of digital retailing and direct debits?
@steve_parkes Honestly, I'd maybe be willing to overlook a little bit of tax avoidance, provided the helicopter is yellow and has a hydraulic digger on the front?
@jordanbhx An award?! It was closed for 6Β½ years longer than planned, they destroyed the wooden dancefloors, and contaminated the pipe organ with asbestos. And don't even get me started on the urinals.
@dracos Last time I used a ticket machine, I got tricked into buying a return ticket when I only wanted a single. I'm not sure whether it made it less or more annoying that the price difference was only 30p.
