I was walking alone yesterday when an unsmiling teen on a bike whizzed by. Our eyes met. He circled back, and I couldn’t help bracing myself for our encounter. “Hey, lady,” he said gruffly. “Five ducklings. Under the culvert ahead.” Then he did a wheelie and sped off.
i was checking the exclamation markets this morning and noticed that “neato burrito” jumped a dozen spots to #383. i wouldn’t say i’m concerned. for context, “jeez” is #84 and “holy shit” is #8. neato burrito isn’t ready to play with the big boys. still, interesting development
