For those of you at my @LambdaDays talk on #adhd, I'm aware the link on my final slide to the references was long and hand written. So here it is again :) https://t.co/6XSk7TCW81
So in about 2 hours (14:00 CEST) #sycl will be streaming me on being a professional developer with #adhd , and how that's influenced my preferences in programming styles.
You can even heckle/ask questions) via the Twitch chat during and after the talk. https://t.co/x8uHbaFKgL
Live stream here at "Software You Can Love" about to kick off. I'm not on until tomorrow, but lots of good talks happening today as well! https://t.co/x8uHbaFKgL
Well, will you look at that. It's a blog post in which I start making a web app look smart and be user friendly with a combination of server side HTML generation in #fsharp and #htmx . Get it while it's hot at https://t.co/BlcKbZ6AAt
(part 6 of the series for those following)
Hey #fsharp🦔 folks, we've been at it for over a year, pushing boundaries and making things happen🤘. Reality check: cool stuff costs money. So, we’ve set up our open collective here: https://t.co/j33CfKH9W9. Your support can really make a difference🚀
The internal quality of a code base is the properties of that make it "easier for humans changing the codebase correctly".
Showing that process is one reason I wanted to write a journal, rather than a series dissecting an existing code base. Let's do it: https://t.co/upcrejRrqm
Also, I am currently the world's only expert in the "julienned domain sandwich" architecture style, so you should probably hire me to help you implement it in your project.
We've arrived! An example of #eventSourced user management in #fsharp using #marten awaits you in the newest post in my dev journal series: https://t.co/PrQDWwX9Cc
A website that users can sign up for and log in to. Exciting stuff.
The latest PR to CalDance adds logging in/out of the website with event sourced user data stored in #postgres via #marten
Today is about hooking up all the machinery and making sure the dev UX stays nice: next week, we talk event sourcing. https://t.co/RocRQicQ5M #fsharp
If you know me at all, it probably won't surprise you I have _opinions_ about #adhd and about programming techniques. #tdd is one of the techniques I have opinions about.

I'm currently available for short term consulting work. Things I can do for you range from architecture & technology strategy through online training workshops for developers and into just paying me to write good code™. All the details at https://t.co/YzEGNT4JcL #fsharp#dotnet
Time for dev journal post 3: adding a simple end to end test to our project that uses the actual #fsharp webserver container that will be deployed so that we discover bugs before our users. Or our blog readers, for that matter!

If you're interested in #FunctionalProgramming, #typescript, or both - please share. I think the techniques in this post can really make writing TS a lot more enjoyable, and the results more reliable.
I may have got a bit carried away writing a blog post presenting both a really practical way with a nice developer experience of handling asynchronous operations that might fail in #typescript... and a "write your own monad in TypeScript" tutorial.

Ah, yes - I'm speaking at Lambda Days in May & they've made me a snazzy banner.
If you're interested in "Types and other techniques as an accessibility tool for the #adhd brain" (or other #FunctionalProgramming related stuff), early bird tickets are out

Dev journals 2: Today we use #nix to make sure the project gives everyone the same version of the Fantomas.
Then we use it to capture the dependencies between our code and an #fsharp test project, so that CI run the tests while building the docker image.
