When we spoke
the old punk told me
he was just coming in
from planting flowers,
and when I said
that I didn’t realize
he planted flowers,
the old punk told me:
that if you want
bread and roses
you have to learn
how to bake and
how to garden.

Love and Solidarity
@wtflanksteak genuine question, how do i wear a mask if they make me dizzy?
i have super bad heat intolerance so masking always makes me overheat which makes it impossible to wear one for more than a few mins :/
Wear a mask, y'all. If you stopped, it's okay to start again. Pick a place or two that you go regularly and mask there. I don't want you to get sick. Wear a mask.
When they fall ill
they forget what this virus is called
so they say it’s summer flu
or allergies or a weird cold,
but keep in mind
another symptom of covid
is a tongue that’s white and patchy,
they may forget
what this virus is called
but the virus
is on the tip of their tongue.

Leftists who exclude disabled ppl from their solidarity are telling us they’re not really standing in solidarity with anyone, it’s all just an act. If disabled ppl are disposable, not fully human, not worth being in solidarity with, no one else is for them either, not really.
masking is an act of love, masking is an act of bravery, masking is an act of strength, masking is an act of kindness.
for yourself and all those around you.
Multiple alarming reports of intensive+deadly Israeli bombardment from several journalists in Gaza in recent hours
Note this comes just days after a major new Israeli evacuation order spurred more displacement for Palestinians, some of whom have now moved 10 times seeking safety
#YallMasking?
This epidemiologist sure does hope so!
And if you’ve gotten out of the habit because society makes this simple choice so much harder than it needs to be, fingers crossed this hashtag inspires you to start again.
#CovidIsNotOver, so masking is community care!
