Pakho Sitlhou gave his life to bringing the Gospel to the remote Zeliangrong people, becoming one of the first missionaries to introduce Christianity to the community. Through immense sacrifice, he translated the Bible into the Zeliangrong dialect so people could know Christ in their own language and culture.

Rev. V. Sitlhou, son of the late missionary, was brutally killed in the deadly Kangpokpi ambush — a tragedy that has shaken churches across the Northeast. The murder of a family that symbolized faith, sacrifice, and service has left the Christian community heartbroken and outraged, exposing once again the painful violence haunting Manipur.
