I have seen many comments of people saying they are not joining the Hallelujah Challenge this year… and honestly, I felt led to write this.
Let me encourage you with all sincerity: in all the Hallelujah Challenges I have ever joined, this one is one of the most powerful and spiritually intentional. This is not just another online gathering. This is not just about music. This is not about trends or entertainment. This is about souls, restoration, and spiritual alignment.
When the man of God asked us to pray for our family members who are not born again, suddenly many people began to withdraw. Suddenly, people started saying they are tired, busy, or not feeling it anymore. But let me speak the truth in love: if you are giving up now, you need to check your heart. Because when the Hallelujah Challenge was about dressing like your miracle, posting videos, dancing all night, and celebrating testimonies, many people were very active. It felt exciting. It felt entertaining. It felt easy.
But now that it has entered the realm of deep intercession — praying for the salvation of your family members, your friends, and the people connected to your destiny — now your spirit feels tired? Now you feel like stopping?
Ask yourself why.
You don’t want your brother saved.
You don’t want your sister delivered.
You don’t want your parents to encounter Christ.
You don’t want your friends to give their lives to Jesus.
Because if you truly desired their salvation, you would not be looking for an excuse to withdraw at the very moment prayers are being raised for them.
There is something about praying for others that shifts the atmosphere of your own life. When you stand in the gap for your family, heaven begins to move in ways you may not immediately see. Salvation is not a small prayer point. It is one of the greatest miracles. A changed life is greater than a new job, a car, or even financial breakthrough. When a soul is saved, eternity is affected.
And let me tell you something many people don’t realize: when a season of intense prayer begins and you suddenly feel lazy, distracted, tired, or uninterested — that is not always normal fatigue. Sometimes it is spiritual resistance. Sometimes it is an attack on your consistency. The moment your prayers begin to threaten darkness around your family and destiny, distractions will arise.
That sudden loss of interest.
That sudden sleep.
That sudden feeling of “I’ll join tomorrow.”
That sudden urge to scroll instead of pray.
Be spiritually sensitive.
Waking up in the middle of the night to pray is not a punishment. It is a privilege. It is warfare. It is alignment. Those midnight and early morning prayers carry a weight that casual daytime scrolling can never carry. You may think you need more sleep or more entertainment, but what your spirit truly needs is alignment with God.
Some of you can stay up all night watching videos, scrolling on TikTok, following trends, and laughing at content. But when it is time to pray for one hour, suddenly you are exhausted. When it is time to stand in the gap for your destiny and your household, suddenly it feels too demanding.
Let this be a wake-up call.
If you have not been joining the Hallelujah Challenge, this is your moment to start. Don’t wait for a “perfect” day. Don’t wait until you feel spiritual. Discipline yourself and join. Even if you feel weak, join. Even if you feel distracted, join. Even if you don’t feel anything, join.
And if you have been joining but you feel like stopping, don’t even dare give up now. This may be the most important phase for you and your family. Treat this season like a personal retreat. Set your heart intentionally. Create time. Remove distractions. Show up consistently.
Your consistency in prayer can open doors that effort alone cannot open.
Your intercession can break patterns that have existed for years.
Your obedience can bring salvation to your household.
