@RBR_Daily The interesting bit isn’t just that the gap is smaller it’s that the lap to lap swings are cooling off too. Earlier it looked like a car with a narrow window but now the pace is much more repeatable, which usually means the setup and aero platform are finally getting into sync
@EffyF141111@F1Clapped Barely anyone left? The team is more than than a few faces in the front. Other than Newey and Marshall, it’s pretty much the and team. Horner, Marko and GP didn’t make the car. There’s plenty of good members there. Mercedes were crap for a whole generational cycle…
Laurent Mekies: "It's a great result for the team. This is absolutely a huge step forward. If you think about where we were two or three races ago... To now have this pace again, to be so close to pole position and so close to the ultimate pace, that's excellent.
Are we really happy? We'll never truly be happy when you miss pole by four hundredths of a second, especially not in Monaco. But it's an incredibly strong performance from the team, from Max, and from Isack. P2 and P5 make it a very good Saturday.
It had already been very close all weekend up to this point. Friday went reasonably well. Even then, we could see that Kimi was very fast. This morning, they were clearly quite a bit quicker than us.
However, the team kept working tirelessly to find a better balance for Max and Isack. In the end, we ended up within those same few hundredths of a second."
@RBRHub a few races ago we were talking as if Red Bull had completely lost their way...Max will retire.
Now they're disappointed to be missing pole in Monaco by almost nothing.
Keep getting better...
@EffyF141111@F1Clapped Redbull are one of the best teams ever seen in f1. Come on man. Every team slumps a bit. They already on the way back up. It’s never greener on the other side
