After building apps for a year but never shipping any, I'm very happy to have first app live on the App Store! 🚀
A minimalistic app: Stillness - Breathe & Meditate
A great learning exercise. Now to build bigger, more complex projects!

@vidhanmertiya@athcanft Yes it can for sure. Need to also consider marketing strategy and if their are advertising costs as well.
Generally best to avoid apps using expensive models/delivery costs and throttle usage of app features if theres a cost per use etc
@vidhanmertiya@athcanft Most apps have very high margins unless they leverage lots of ai features or compute to deliver the service/product or have fixed costs that are high and few customers to offset them
@vidhanmertiya@athcanft Apple picks price points (dont think custom is possible and it’s always x.99)
Often weekly used to make annual plan look appealing so it’s some fraction of your intended annual price and then inflated in price by maybe 30-50%
@robj3d3 Super interesting video, thanks for taking the time.
Congrats on taking a risk with the move and recognising it wasn’t for you and recalibrating
@athcanft So why do you think this happens? Shift of TikTok meta means ads need refresh?
Might be a naive question but don’t know a lot about advertising on social media or in general.
Obviously companies can’t run the same ads forever but why do you think your ads seem to saturate
@athcanft If you like jammy eggs, 7 mins in boiling and into cold water for a few minutes to cool down works every time.
Worked at a cafe and boiled over 9000 for salads 🥗
@athcanft Did you try your method pre us acc or did it evolve after and you had already transitioned. Wondering if it’s even worth bothering with non us based ads
