@TheFlatEartherr Radiation from the Sun still reaches outer space, but it's dispersed and doesn't create the same effect as on Earth. If you were to travel away from Earth into deep space, you'd eventually reach a point where the radiation from the Sun would be too weak to see with the naked eye

However, in outer space, there is no atmosphere to scatter the radiation, so it appears dark.

OTE can also be used to add confluence in finding optimised POI too. I've seen some people apply volume profiles over the range to further add confluence.
