Just watched #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld, and my immediate thoughts? It’s a fantastic, grounded addition to the MCU. The chemistry between @AnthonyMackie’s Captain America and @DannyRamirez’s Falcon is something I never knew I needed, but wow—it’s incredible! Mackie delivers an outstanding performance, fully earning the title of Captain America. By the end of the movie, I was saying, “THAT is our Cap!”
The film does an excellent job of making you feel attached to its characters, especially Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk and Carl Lumbly’s Isaiah Bradley. Both bring such a strong presence to the movie, and honestly, it wouldn’t have been the same without them.
That said, there were a few things I didn’t love. You can definitely spot where the reshoots were implemented, and some of the CGI looked rough. But despite those flaws, they didn’t take away from how much fun this movie is—everyone in the theater was having a great time.
And that post-credit scene? It really sets up an exciting direction for the MCU, and I’m genuinely hyped to see where things go next.
Final Score: 7.3/10
GREAT JOB, CAP!
