Patchwork O-Rens are gorgeous. Hope they’re gone before I overcome my impulse control, it’d be hard to fit into my wardrobe without O-Bi and a Planck or two.
Thank you & your partners for your work!
@hassankhan@markgurman Not officially, no, but there’s plenty of well-established (since before Apple opened sales in 2000s) companies selling devices imported from elsewhere. Used to be from the US and UAE, last gen at least in part from Japan.
@AnaOpp Surprised the banner does not mention the anti-fascist rally at the same time & place. The more the merrier, of course, but I wonder if some might be caught off guard.
in retrospect it's pretty ~funny how most shitware SaaS companies & social media companies exclusively run Real Software for Grown-Ups while critical infrastructure (airlines, hospitals, etc.) all uses dotcom-era software from comically incompetent zombie firms with 650 PE ratios
COWORKER: we need to find the root cause asap
ME: *takes long drag* the root cause is that our processes are not robust enough to prevent a person from making this mistake
COWORKER: amy please not right now
@LLBroadwell You might have seen her/this thread already, but it sort of matches “summer goth”: https://t.co/7n71m0bsJU
Her brand has sick summer-ready wool-silk and linen stuff.
Living in a Chinese city that gets up to 40°C in summer, & often travelling to Southeast Asia, I do have some suggestions on non-conventional, androgynous-leaning summer wear.
I will list a few of them with details of cuts and fabrics, as well as locations to provide context.
@DrawsMiguel Maintenance, especially styling; and finding decent barbers. I went to buzzcuts after growing shoulder-length mane, then getting it butchered by a bad hairdresser.
Currently moved to a boring side-part (which does objectively look better), but my god it’s annoying to care for.
The British media: It's been an okay night for the greens as they secure 4 seats
Also the British media: The Reform Party have caused a political earthquake by storming their way to 4 seats
@servomechanica@iris_IGB although seeing the other image in the thread I might have misinterpreted “squeeze tube”, which I associate more with the first one I posted, toothpaste-like. Mayo-style bottle for condensed milk is an abomination.
@xlucinescad@servomechanica My reasoning: the “image” shared by the startup is an artistic rendition at best, and they couldn’t be arsed do model these modules closely; this is the most similar (publicly available) MPS part, and it fits the application & other MPS modules.
Would love to be corrected tho.
@shipilev That + cost difference is why I ended up with fibre around the house, with DACs or 1G copper to clients from room switches (also Mikrotik MVP for having had very reasonably priced SFP+ boxes several years ago)
