It was a privilege to be at @NorthwesternMN in Minnesota today and speak to the students and faculty in chapel. My father @BillyGraham served as the second president of this school from 1948-1952, when it was Northwestern College, and starting when he was only 29 years old! It was great to see more of the history of this Christian university and how God is using it in the lives of students today. I enjoyed spending time with the president, Dr. Corbin Hoornbeek, his wife Heather, and meeting many on the faculty leadership team. Dr. Hoornbeek is doing an incredible job, and I appreciate that the school is centered on God’s Word! #UNWavering

Merry Christmas everyone. But more than that I hope you have a Blessed Christmas. And if you want to know what that means there’s probably not a better source than Linus. He explained it to Charlie Brown almost 60 years ago in a Christmas Special that has become an American favorite.
In 1965 it was extremely daring to have Linus recite from the Bible on prime time television. It probably wouldn’t even happen today and the network executives did not want it as part of the show then. But Charles Schultz, the creator of Peanuts, was a strong Christian man and he wouldn’t back down.

Schultz’s conviction resulted not only in Charlie Brown learning the true meaning of Christmas but in Luke Chapter 2 being heard by millions of people every year at Christmas time.

The Christian Super Bowl Ad They SHOULD Have Made

A group known as 'He Gets Us' released an advert during the Super Bowl which, whilst perhaps well intentioned, failed to convey anything of the gospel to the hundreds of millions who saw it.

Here's my take on what they should have done.

#HeSavesUs

[Holly Rowe @sportsiren]

When I asked @UMichFootball heart and soul Blake Corum how he prepares mentally for each game, he reached in to his back pack for the book he reads every morning! He is rooted in faith and this bible is his peace.

“If you ever feel at times that you’re not worthy enough to be involved with Christ or that you don’t deserve it, that’s all wrong. I’ll just tell you that right now — that’s all wrong."

The Gospel of Matthew, start of chapter five, verse 13. Consider:
“You (Christians)
are (not should be, are)
salt (preserving what’s good)
of the earth (our world is in decay).”
Let’s strive to be salt of the earth and pray to God’s will He guides us there. #BibleBits
