Super excited to share this role to join @FKTRY. Kicking off vintage/fund II & seeking new partner to join us as Head of Platform help run and refine our startup services platform and continue our creative services-for-equity ‘Creative Capital’ mission. https://t.co/yCkd6mWJW1
@MarkCCrowley Go for the full Reset instead - Detach totally from your work based identity. Step off of your perfomative mindset totally(no goals, no right and wrong, no good and bad). Remain on sabbatical until you get truly bored (not just anxious), until your spark plugs crackle.
@MarkCCrowley Toxic culture is 10x the predictor that greater pay is. Meaning it is insignificant. I think that rocks worlds. IMHO the “greater pay” explanation is an accountability deferment tactic for those who aren’t able to take on the challenge at hand
@NoraBateson@jandeman Nothing right, nor worthwhile, has ever come from making anything wrong. The neurology and cognitive functions of survival, is what we now have to survive and live rich lives in spite of. Wisdom thru acceptance therefor is key.
@jandeman Perhaps a better question is how do we engage people in defending what we have rather than being traumatized/becoming passive by what we have lost? Fear mongering and “awareness building” seem to be pushing the same hijacking-buttons these days
MYTH: Focusing on the negative things makes you more realistic.
SCIENCE: Three times more positive things than negative things happen every single day. Being grateful is actually a much more realistic perspective.
@jandeman Yeah, I use that analogy because it is easier to process. The truth is waaaaaaaay scarier (at first) in it’s complexity and randomness (Thus the emergence of simplistic narratives that keep us going (in an unexamined lifelike state)). Kick it off - what’s a “truer” analogy?
Working with your own personal development is like rebuilding an airplane mid flight - if the flight was gradually but constantly changing and you couldn’t really see it clearly. In other words - it’s a long game and you need to play with it. #personaldevelopment#life
