My prayer time was very basic this morning. I simply walked around in my office for about an hour saying "I choose to trust you God. I choose to trust you God. I choose to trust you God." Peace came. #HopeIsAPerson

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Corinthians 3:17). It's a Freedom from the bondage of sin and freedom from the bondage of religion. It's a freedom to be the person you were created to be. Religion hates freedom.

2 Corinthians 8:2. "In the midst of a very servere trial, their overwhelming joy...welled up. . ." Is that even possible? Joy in a severe trial? Lord, I know it is, but only if You are there with me. "in your presence there is fullness of joy"(Psalm 16:11).

The Holy Spirit is alive. And during this year of COVID-19 and rioting, God is still on the throne. Over and over again, it has been impressed on me to stay focused on Jesus and my assignment, not to get distracted by the bad news going on around us.
