We’ve been building in the shadows for 4.5 years.
Today, we’re pulling back more of the curtain.
We just dropped a 10-minute film showing what Cuby really looks like in operation (from 3 months ago).
Watch the film and then tell me if you still think the future has to suck.
More below.

Many argue that the winner of the current age of empires will be determined by AI supremacy.
What many seem to overlook is that most of the critical components of winning the AI race - beyond research talent - are closely linked to the ability to build modern industrial infrastructure:
1. Scaling energy supply
2. Building data centers
3. Producing chips
4. Manufacturing cooling, electrical, and other fit-out components at scale
Research talent alone is not enough. The US and China are hyper-scaling infra and Europe is at risk of falling behind.
By 2028, the US is expected to reach roughly 100-120 GW of data-centre capacity, China about 40-50 GW, and Europe roughly 15-20 GW.
Yes, we can use US capacity - but should we?
It's as if they're putting up 5G poles everywhere and we're still mostly on dial-up.
If I could send one message to every VC in Europe today, it would be this:
Stay curious about companies building in the real world - they might surprise you. The fear shouldn't be capital intensity or scaling challenges of Vertical Integrators, but missing the next super-cycle. 🌊
Remember that the biggest mistakes in venture are rarely sins of commission, but rather sins of omission. The edge lies in conviction before consensus. 🧠
I’ve written a deep-dive on the most common misconceptions about Vertical Integrators: https://t.co/tm8nlKj1Ml
How much does the rising age of first-time homeownership influence birth rates?
Median age of first-time homebuyer was 31 y/o in 2010s, now it’s 40.
Interesting one to think about - and concerning…
Two reasons we’re not building enough homes.
1. Regulation
2. Skilled Labor (Not Enough, Retiring Too Fast); 70% of Cost Equation of $1 of Build Cost
We can’t solve regulation. But we’re building a system and processes to allow us to build more homes with fewer hands.
Our Mobile Micro-Factories work because we’re building homes today in 60-90 working days at 30-40% below replacement costs consistently now, and with only 4 folks on-site (who have never done construction prior); all while not stepping on any regulatory toes (familiarity — allowing us to scale 26,000 different zoning codes).
Household formations are grossly delayed as a function of housing unattainability. For abundance, we must build more homes, and in turn, can maybe stop the birth rate cliff in the US.
Every great civilisation faces a moment when renewal becomes a question of survival.
The West has reached that point.
After three years of work, this is my magnum opus - a framework for what comes next:
The Integration Age.

Time to rebuild the real.
Two days ago, I published "The Integration Age" - a labor of love that I'm deeply proud of.
I just 48 hours, we reached 2,000 readers - surpassing all my expectations! Thank so much to everyone who supported the launch! 🙏🏼
Many of you asked for a downloadable PDF version - it's now available on the website.

We need this in Europe. At scale.
Probably the highest ROI in terms of impact vs difficulty to unlock scale for Vertical Integrators. Cost of capital really matters.

At this pivotal moment for our country’s reindustrialization, thrilled to share @8VC’s partnership with @apolloglobal to accelerate America’s Industrial Renaissance.
Apollo and 8VC share a vision: to back America’s builders with the capital and expertise needed to transform advanced manufacturing, aerospace, energy, life sciences, and natural resources into engines of resilience and prosperity for the nation’s future.
