I spent the past week in LA, attending AI on the Lot.
@ToddTerrazas and his team put on the most amazing conference in Culver City, with attendance double that of last year.
People from the AI world and traditional filmmakers came together to discuss how we can work better together, build more efficient workflows that benefit everyone, use AI to enhance films and advertising, and more.
The consensus was clear and loud: The page was turned, and AI is here to stay, and everyone wants to use it today.
The loudest voices were from Amazon Studios, which is pushing forward at full speed to integrate AI workflows into all their productions.
Everything culminated with Higgsfield’s NA premiere of ‘Hell Grind’, their 95-minute feature film.
It was fantastic to see it on the big screen.
Absolutely everyone agreed it’s a technical masterpiece and a fun film, and that if it were on Netflix, nobody would even notice or care that it was AI-generated.
Can’t wait for the next one!
