@santiagopliego During the 2010s, the only place to buy men’s clothes within an easy biking distance of the Mountain View google campus was an REI on E Charleston Rd. I lived and worked in the area and only had a bike. Now I only wear hiking shoes.

@turo If a hosts cancels my reservation last minute, you can't just make it up with what I paid in credit. Now availability is low and a comparable option costs more than 3x as much. I guess I'm going with a much worse car for the same price. Hope they don't cancel too.

Monday Apple releases a vr headset and rebrands themselves to Meta. They sell us a virtual utopia defined by censorship against swear words. Their stock price plummets taking out the entire economy. The real world looks so bleak and we all escape to virtual reality.

I’m bullish.
