@rottenbanana101 I wish… sadly a lot of people don’t know that you can read about exactly what actions Trump has taken, what oil companies have done in response and then look at where supply is coming from. Some people just think they can read a tweet and assume Trump must be the cause.

@rottenbanana101 So Trump has deregulated and encouraged drilling in national parks. While leases have gone up, not much additional drilling has started because Trump does not understand incentives. He wants headlines, the oil companies want money. Most of the supply growth is outside the US.

@rottenbanana101 2/2 what I have been saying for months. The US has not been as effective as they hoped in this war. Iran still maintains significant leverage and the US wants out. This MOU is significant in US history in that it requires little from Iran in order to benefit a lot.

It doesn’t look like a victory to me, it looks like a compromise to end this thing. That means that Iran still has leverage.

The point was not to demonstrate our ability to drop bombs, the point was to defeat Iran; which we have not done despite our remarkable ability to blow stuff up.

@JesseBWatters I bet they are not so much stunned as amused. How many times has Trump declared an end to the war? How many times has he said they were close to a deal? Its like you all read the same headline every week and think, "he wouldn't lie again..."
