🚨 Do you understand what CNBC just told you..

the US unemployment system is not ready for a recession.. the safety net that's supposed to catch you when you lose your job.. is broken.. before you even lose the job..

most states drained their unemployment trust funds during COVID and never refilled them.. they borrowed from the federal government and some still haven't paid it back..

and look at what's happening right now..

Oracle just fired 30,000 people.. Amazon cut 27,000 last year.. Google laid off 12,000 sitting on $100 billion in cash.. AI companies are raising $122 billion in a single round while the companies funding them are firing hundreds of thousands to pay for it..

they found unlimited money for a war with Iran that nobody voted for.. they found $500 billion for Stargate.. they found $156 billion for Oracle's AI data centres.. they found $122 billion for OpenAI..

but the system that catches you when all of this replaces your job.. is broke..

there's always money for the machine that replaces you.. there's never money for what happens to you after.
