What Elon Musk is doing is genuinely heroic.
He will win no friends in politics and will be ostracised by the current administration. But he is totally right.
We (the entire Western world) simply cannot go on pretending our way of life is sustainable.
Historically, countries build up surpluses in peace time and then go into debt to fight wars. We are going into more and more debt during peace time.
Clever economists will tell you this is sustainable. It is not. And someone has to do something about it.
It's liberating once you realize that the mind can be trained to do anything you want. That most of your lack is no more than a lack of skill, knowledge, action, and the logical sequence of steps it takes to achieve that thing. Unlike muscle on your body, your mind is infinite.
Joe Biden authored the 1994 Crime Bill, which imprisoned millions of Americans for doing what his son is doing right here.
@MarcoPolo501c3's Report on the Biden Laptop details 459 crimes involving the Biden family and their associates.
Rules for thee, but not for me.
World Economic Forum 'agenda contributor', Yuval Noah Harari: "Covid is critical because this is what convinces people to accept total biometric surveillance", enabling "the Stalins of the 21st century" to analyse and monitor "the brains of all the population, all the time".
"You don't need human agents. You don't need human analysers. You just have a lot of sensors, and an AI which analyses it, and that's it, you have the worst totalitarian regime in history."
Seems to me…the purpose of pain is to inspire growth and the purpose of pleasure is to remind us of the profoundly spectacular gift of life.
The tricky part: creating separation between our conscious minds and the pain so we’re able to experience it as the such.#1coin2sides
One of the most urgent issues facing our country is the alarming increase in autoimmune diseases, chronic illness, and neurodevelopmental disorders. We’ve damaged and poisoned this entire generation, and driven health care expenditures through the roof. Why is no other presidential candidate talking about this?
The United States has one of the highest costs of healthcare in the world: as much as $4.3 trillion per year. A staggering 93% of Medicare claims are for chronic disease. Meanwhile, a medical cartel comprised of regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and hedge-fund-owned hospitals are making a killing. The sicker we get, the richer they get.
If you agree that fixing the chronic disease epidemic is a top priority, please support my campaign today.

“Orwell feared those who would deprive us of information. Huxley feared those who would give us so much that we would be reduced to passivity and egoism. Orwell feared that the truth would be concealed from us. Huxley feared the truth would be drowned in a sea of irrelevance. Orwell feared we would become a captive culture. Huxley feared we would become a trivial culture, preoccupied with some equivalent of the feelies, the orgy porgy, and the centrifugal bumblepuppy.
“As Huxley remarked in Brave New World Revisited, the civil libertarians and rationalists who are ever on the alert to oppose tyranny 'failed to take into account man's almost infinite appetite for distractions.'
"In 1984, Huxley added, 'people are controlled by inflicting pain. In Brave New World, they are controlled by inflicting pleasure.'
“In short, Orwell feared that what we hate will ruin us. Huxley feared that what we love will ruin us.” — Neil Postman from his novel, Amusing Ourselves to Death
“You’re putting down women by saying women can be men.”
This is one of the best preaches against the cancel culture movement that I've encountered in a long time.

The thoughts and feelings you are presently experiencing are not YOU.
They are simply a temporary condition of your consciousness in this moment
Identification with these temporary conditions is a common source of pain. This is unnecessary

"Without commitment, you'll never start. But more importantly, without consistency, you'll never finish."
-Denzel Washington
Get started. Stay consistent. It’s simple…not easy
"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
We all have limits, most of which are self imposed. To overcome them, we must be aware of them, challenge them, dismantle them. Be a greater version of you
Have you ever thought…
“I wish I could just fast forward thru this shitty part and get to when my goal becomes real?”
Right. Me too.
But taken to the natural extreme, the day you die, you would’ve achieved all the goals you set out to accomplish.
And then - immediately die.
Which when you think about it - shows how silly it is for us to think this way.
You might as well say “I’d like to fast forward to the end of the movie”
If that’s the case, you might as well not watch it. Or in our case - live it.
So - the reverse of that would be to value the shitty part as equal (or even greater than) the end.
Since we don’t want the story to end (we die), we flip the “fast forward to the end” frame to “slow down right now”
In other words - the todays - become the “good ol days” of our future selves looking back.
And - doing the work - becomes the only goal worth living for.
We must not confuse the difference between temporary defeat and failure.
The former is an essential part of the process that leads to success.
While the latter is the decision to give up on the pursuit of success.
