The Colts would of had to eat his salary if he was traded to the Ravens, it would not have been a 3rd and 5th for Baltimore to get him. Plus the Ravens would of had to extend him.

Jurgens played a position that the Ravens DESPERATELY needed (C) and he is under contract for the next 3 1/2 years and younger.

It's just not comparable in my opinion.

@NextNetworkJosh Jurgens is less of a hit on our cap, has more years left on contract, and is younger too. Better long term option. We're not in a win now mode for this season. We're injured and a super bowl is hard for a young first time headcoach and young first time play caller in Doyle.
