Unpopular opinion: What if.... instead of adding new mechanics to stop killers from tunneling we got new mechanics to stop survivors from gen rushing? Like Corrupt or Deadlock as basekit or even something entirely new around generators without losing the essence of the game. I remember in Frank Stone we had to find motor parts, not just repair them. Why not give survivors other tasks instead of just sitting on a gen? That way killers would actually have time to play the game without the constant “if I don’t kill one early I lose” pressure. And Im saying this as surv main. Im tired of people sitting on gens and doing nothing else.

Before we break for the weekend, we wanted to update folks on the ongoing PTB discussions which we have been following very closely since last week’s Dev Update.

We have heard you clearly that the current implementation of the Tunneling Reduction and Slugging Reduction Systems players have been testing this week feels too punishing for Killers.

For the release of Sinister Grace, we will hold back those features (and their associated perk changes) to iterate on some adjustments based on your feedback. We will test these features again in an upcoming PTB and will release them live when we believe they are ready.
