Fear is becoming a bigger problem than the virus itself.
Mankind is undefeated and one of the few surviving species for millions of years and 99.9999% chance things will continue that way.
Stay positive.
Sad day. Reminds me of Gurcharan Das quote - the bureaucrat does not understand my business, but has complete power to destroy it. Hope SEBI will revisit and allow a thousand flowers to bloom. India needs people like Stalwart. @PMOIndia@SEBI https://t.co/wC67N1mwjd
Buffett in his first 25 yrs created an alpha of 20% while the in last 20 yrs created 0% alpha. The size of AUM keeps decreasing the alpha generation - the same is happening with many star managers in MF and PMS industry in India !!
Marcellus is the 3ed largest PMS in the country by AUM
This is the result of the amazing vocational ability of Saurab and has absolutely nothing to do with their performance, they've never beaten any benchmarks
People paying high fees and expense ratios due to good vocabulary
Skill in stock markets is in recognizing when you have got lucky in buying a great company at a less than fair price and then staying put for its greatness to fully unravel !!
Valuations = Market size (growth potential) + Business Model (aka moat) + Mgmt. quality (integrity/experience/capability)+ Longevity of profits. Most startup (and many public) investors r making a big mistake by focusing just on market size and equating Mgmt. with fancy degrees!!

100% agree - An equity fund manager who doesn't believe in his/her own funds future is doing a great disservice to his investors. Such a person is not suitable for the job. The recent SEBI move of linking part salary to units in the scheme is a step in the right direction.
Agree Radhika with many points u raise BUT:
An equity fund Mgr better be excited with the funds he/she manages, this is not just a job that u are doing without believing in the thesis. If his risk appetite is lower or higher, he is not the right person to manage the fund.
High Growth doesn't mean high valuations unless it comes with the annihilation of competition!!
Too much money is floating around in the hands of kids w/o business experience and VCs w/o investing experience!! Will end up very badly for many.
