Gm lovers,
I came to develop the idea of the performance on paper as a way to give collage a new dimension.
Like a puppeteer, I move objects without ever revealing my hands — using threads, magnets, tension and gravity to make the image move.
The outcome is never entirely calculated. I leave room for chance, for accidents, for the unexpected. Each movement becomes part of the work, making every piece unique and definitive.
Once the performance is over, the physical work cannot be repeated. What remains is the present moment, preserved through video.
I choose to work with aesthetic subjects, but never as fixed images. Bodies, forms and identities are transformed by time and technology — becoming something altered, extended, augmented.
