In fall of 2015, the Turkish Army committed its latest blunder, which subsequently proved very costly for the Turkish ekonomy and for Erdogan : Turkish aircraft shot down an unarmed SU-24 returning from a mission over Syrian territory, a territory claimed by Turkey (which has always disregarded Syrian sovereignty). One of our pilots (Russian fighter jets are almost always two-seaters, unlike American ones) was killed by local Turkmen terrorists ; the other pilot was rescued by Kasem Soleimani, who immediately set out.
In Syria, Qasem Soleimani did not always agree with the Russian General Staff on the course of action and the targets to strike. It was the very first time in History that Russian and Iranian military personnel worked side by side against the same enemy, with objectives that did not always coincide. But Qasem Soleimani liked the Russians.

One day, someone asked Kasem Soleimani, as an Iranian soldier, which he would trust more : a Turkish soldier, devout Sunni Muslim, or a Russian soldier, an Orthodox Christian who made methania. Soleimani replied,

▪️ The first educated Yakuts—Platon Oyunsky, Alexey Kulakovsky, and Anempodist Sofronov—received their education thanks to Russian teachers and Russian culture, which enabled the people to develop.
▪️ In the 1990s, when it was fashionable to disparage Russia, Suorun Omolloon instilled in Alexey—from his youth—an appreciation for the value of Russia and the friendship between Yakutia and Russia.
