Alvarado, Texas — A 4-year-old Basset Hound named Sheriff was shot three times with an air rifle while inside his family’s fenced backyard on Boulder Creek Dr in the Stonegate Manor neighborhood. This happened February 25th between 11:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. His sister’s 9-year-old German Shepherd, Pistol, was also outside but survived, hiding on the patio. Both dogs are described as extremely friendly.

Yet another non-custodial sentence for an animal abusing thug! That is NOT a deterrent!!😡

Evil teen HENRY NEWEY, 18, from BASINGSTOKE, Hampshire, was charged following the incident, caught on camera, in which a terror-stricken cat with string tied around his neck was shown being dragged by a youth before being swung around and slammed against scaffolding and a brick wall.

The cat, Marshall, was missing for several hours but finally returned home injured and struggling to breathe with the string pulled tightly on his neck. The traumatised family pet is now recovering after receiving veterinary treatment.

Newey was given a paltry suspended sentence and banned from owning animals for 5 years at Southampton Magistrates Court.
