quick rant, my grandma wakes her retired ass up every single day to go and work to put me through school, buy me the things I need, and to make my childhood as great as ones could be. She’s never complained to me not once. She’s my hero for real bro

@jack_sperry I’d assume that one of the great organizations of all time will probably take all the necessary precautions, as well as examine a candidates character and ability to lead while conducting this head coaching search. This is a billion dollar business. They know more than us.
The level of reverence that Coach T is garnering from former players, opposing players, media members and coaching peers is pretty damn awesome to see and hear. You don’t get to that level without doing many things consistently right. I know there is a significant portion of SteelerNation that couldn’t care less about that, and that’s fine. You got your wish. But this still feels super weird to me. I understand the football aspect of things hasn’t met expectations for some time now. But the leadership part was still elite. And in the NFL, where so many relationships are strictly transactional, we as players had something long lasting and personal with a coach who wanted more for you outside of what you did for him on the field. That just doesn’t happen often in the NFL. And we had that.
Thank You @CoachTomlin. You are 1 of 1.

Breaking news: Mike Tomlin is stepping down as Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, sources tell me and @AdamSchefter.
He notified the team that he’s leaving after 19 years.
The league’s longest-tenured coach has 193 wins, eight playoff victories and a Super Bowl.
Why is everyone acting like the Steelers weren’t down 1 in the 4th. Why is there some weird agenda. That sack fumble was a heart crusher. They were in it until that point. It doesn’t matter what the game looked like to that point. Bad O. Defense forcing key turnovers. They were down 1
