Introducing Gemini 4 Argon – our new frontier model.
It’s built for complex workflows across coding, enterprise knowledge work, and cybersecurity defense – rolling out today to a set of trusted testers through our Fairwind Program.
@futnostalgico Am I the only one who thinks Roy Keane is an absolute trash player? Refs protected him in the English league, try doing this shit in south america or spain, they're sending his 5'8 midget ass home in a wheelchair
@T__Waters@AdamZivo That's just a skill issue because you're using ChatGPT in 2026 and it's only 1 example. When I was speaking about using AI for self-learning I mean similar to @_MathAcademy_. AI will solve Bloom's 2 sigma problem, not sure how this is confusing.
@T__Waters@AdamZivo AI isn't the problem, it's the greatest learning tool there is and is revolutionizing how students learn. The problem is current system's structure incentivizes students to cheat with AI. Grades and homework worked in the past, today it's meaningless
@T__Waters@AdamZivo And the issue wasn't the lack of punishments/upholding standards. The system is broken. Everyone is cheating with AI. And it was exactly like this during the 2010s except with Chegg/Quizlet. Grades don't mean anything anymore, the traditional model just doesn't work anymore.
@T__Waters@AdamZivo Covid proved that kids really hate the 8 hour government-funded daycare center. Of course when you put them in the same system but it's fully online they won't care especially when none of the rules were being enforced during that time.
@vxunderground Wonder if their concern goes beyond data theft and they're scoping if Canvas has been backdoored or a foothold is still present, because that threatens the IT systems of basically every university in the US and creates a bigger ransom problem.
@AdamZivo Fixing education is simple:
-School Choice
-Phonics based reading
-Removing grade levels past 6th grade, allowing kids to naturally progress
-Mass AI/tech adoption to offset teachers
but this will never happen b/c there's soo many retarded people that would have to be fired
@AdamZivo As retarded as this idea is, this is but a microcosm of why American education is doomed. The system is broken and the incentives are misaligned to the interests of the students - but everyone is focused on these low resolution ideas, pushed by the liberals and teachers unions.
@TooWhiteToTweet Just think about the slogan "No Child Left Behind".
Instead of focusing on pushing people to reach their full potential, they want equality of outcomes and to purposefully sabotage the natural progression of gifted kids.
@Roblox_UGs@BLOX they're burning millions of dollars and need a rev stream that pays for and saves on compute. hosting millions of games that generate 0 rev is a negative ROI, so by adding this paywall they simultaneously pay for existing compute and stop hosting those millions of games
@davidsenra I found Roblox in 2011 mostly because of ads on coolmathgames and my friends, so they clearly had ad spend. the platform really only started blowing up after 2016 when it went mainstream
@LamarDealMaker They need to get rid of the existing system and make schools RPG-like. Let kids select their own curriculum, following their own progress path/timing and allowing gifted kids to move at their natural pace. Schools want to keep gifted kids behind, so nothing will ever change.
@gothburz this seems like the perfect use case for AI to automate the enrichment process because it seems entirely research based, surprised it isn't being done already.
