MADE $4K IN A MONTH FIXING CLASSMATES' THESES WITH CLAUDE 📚

Started when a guy in my program asked me to "just look over" his methodology section. Nothing wrong with it technically, it just read like garbage. Run-on sentences, no structure, said the same thing three different ways.

I ran it through Claude, asked it to flag where the argument fell apart and where the writing got repetitive. He rewrote every paragraph himself. I just kept pointing at the problems.

Charged him $15 for that one section. Week later I had 6 people waiting. A month in, 40+ students across three departments were paying for this.

I never wrote anything for anyone. Built a process instead: they send a draft, Claude flags the logic gaps and weak arguments, they fix it themselves, I check the final version reads clean.

Turns out nobody actually wanted "write this for me." What they wanted was someone to tell them why their advisor was going to reject it.

Went from $15/hr to $60/hr in two months because people could see it working in their defense.

The $4k wasn't some prompt hack. Most students genuinely can't structure their own arguments, and they're too scared to pay someone to "write it" but they'll happily pay for "tell me what's broken." Thats just insane!
