This isn’t the 9 Rhodes scholars that go to Oxford each year or the spoiled rich kid whose parents can afford to send them to study in Switzerland or France for a year. This is highly organised Industrial scale fraud where rich people in poor countries come here on the pretence of studying at a prestigious Australian uni. But the whole reason this industry exists is because it provides a back door entry to Australian permanent residency and a passageway to bring their families. Have you not heard the stories of families or even whole villages in India saving up to send a son over to Australia to study. Are they really doing that so that Raj can go back home with an arts degree from Adelaide uni. It’s all built on a lie and if it means that the University sector goes broke and Australia’s gdp suffers, that is a price worth paying for the sake of our future.
