Vritrahan is a grand journey exploring the contours of Power, Conflict and Karma.
But beyond that, at its core, this work is my humble attempt to decipher the eternal riddle, and the most important question in the world:
Who am I?

There is crazy middle class anger on the CBSE NEET fiasco. Priest King needs to take heed and apply samuhik dandaneeti on those responsible, starting with the incompetent minister who hasn't resigned yet.
In Kolkata, two Muslim women came to a mosque and told a Haji that they were from Malda. They said their husbands had given them triple talaq, but now wanted to take them back. For that, they wanted to undergo halala.
Hearing this, the Haji became very excited and immediately agreed without much thought.
The next morning, the Haji went to the market to buy things for the ritual. He bought some power pills and protection. But when he came back, he found that both women had disappeared. The lock of his cupboard was broken, and all the valuables inside were gone.
This time, instead of performing halala, the Haji himself got halala-ed. π
@Kal_Chiron TMC party is already splitting- Hindu TMC vote some will go to Congress and some to BJP. Muslim TMC vote will be all out fight between CPM and Congress. My personal prediction is Firhad Hakim as Congress PCC here. For BJP math is going to remain the same as I did in my thread.
@daeroplate_v2 Meanwhile our project management is sending mails and arranging calls to expedite engine delivery... Then collective biskoot party when engines arrive
I work with a lot of Chinese customers and partners and have been doing so from the mid 2010's. Back then, while China was transforming itself, there was sympathy but post 2022-23 types they look at our horrible infra and just ask me (innocently) why the govt just doesn't fix it.
To the average Chinese today, India is a relic of the past, they don't see democracy, pluralist thinking etc but broken roads, garbage everywhere and what to them is a broken system.
A lot of India's image problem is simply because of how broken and dysfunctional the urban infra is. Once that changes, if it changes, overall discourse online will start to shift.
@daeroplate_v2 I wrote something back that we have a crazy lack of tech leadership at central level- zero folks at the level of Bhabha, Kalam, KH etc. Once Parrikar ji left absolutely anath dasha
Whatever the final outcome, we are blessed to be living in these wondrous times. Unprecedented stuff is happening faster than anyone could predict. If you told me in 2011 that within 15yrs we will build Ram Mandir, bust Brahmos on Paki ass, and win Bengal, I would have laughed π
This is a category error. You have to look at India as a continent hosting a cultural continuum. The present political nation state of India is actually a radical experiment of fusing national consciousness across this incredibly diverse landscape. 1/x
Continuing with the Shankara analogy, what we are missing today are institutions which will ensure the work is not wasted once the key people leave the scene. That, I hope, is what will happen next. 8/x
Most Brahmins I met..
regardless of how intelligent they are, what position they hold in career or even when they identify as atheists, seem to have an innate urge to protect a Vedic identity.
It feels as though they have been conditioned from childhood to defend that system at all costs. In my experience, it includes manipulating history, presenting certain superstitions as scientific, shaping narratives or overlooking inconvenient facts in order to preserve certain beliefs about Vedic civilization and its past.
Is there any secret training they get?
The simple hack to enjoy holidays is to never go to well known tourist places during public holidays, long week ends, summer/ Diwali/ Xmas vacations. I follow this rule since 2 decades. Relevant globally.
